Rules

Objective.

The Association Mines en Choeurs of Aumetz organizes its eleventh Choral Festival in order to contribute to the cultural and friendly exchange between people.

Regulations

The festival is therefore not a contest but a meeting, a discovery of other vocal horizons for the greater pleasure of choirs and the public.
The choirs admitted are not remunerated.
The festival gives preference to choirs with a repertoire of popular and traditional songs.
All choirs whose members are exclusively amateur singers can participate in the festival.
Our selection of participant choirs is partially based on their CD or DVD recordings, MP3, MP4, YouTube, or etc.

Applications

We ask the choirs to register as soon as possible using the Online form (Download menu).
Applications should include the following:
- Website address, Facebook pages, Youtube, etc.
- Repertoire.

Admission

We ask the selected choirs:
- the definitive list of songs chosen for their programme;
- the duration of each song and the name of the composer;
- the presentation and a photo of the group for the various publications.

Choirs will sing at least three times in public.
Each of the three programs should not exceed 20 minutes.

The festival does not cover the costs of travel to Aumetz which are the responsibility of the choirs admitted, as well as the travel during the festival days.

Liability clauses

The Association "Mines en Choeurs" declines all responsibility in the event of a material and/or bodily accident during the festival and during the visits organized during the festival. Each choir should therefore be insured accordingly.
