2024 Festival

Sunday 21/04/24

This morning, we meet in Remich (Luxembourg) for the traditional cruise on the Moselle for 1h30. The choristers can discover the Moselle valley with its wine-growing hills. The sun is out, good humor reigns, the choirs sing.

Back to Aumetz to have lunch together and rest a little.

4:30 p.m.: concert in Thil in the local church.

7 p.m.: we meet at the Thil hall where, after our last meal together, we sing again. The festival is coming to end. We made great friends again.

Saturday 20/04/24

At 10 am, we arrive at the Musée des Mines d'Aumetz for a guided tour in several groups with translation for our foreign friends. This museum is worth as much for what it presents as for the knowledge and motivation of its guides.

At 12 noon, meal at the multipurpose hall.

At 5 p.m., concert in Aumetz. The church is very full. The audience is thrilled and warmly expresses its satisfaction.

At 8 p.m., return to the multipurpose hall for a meal in a friendly atmosphere. Meal masterfully hosted by Anton Roman.

Friday 19/04/24

3:30 pm: We welcome with great pleasure our guest choirs from abroad: Vokalna Skupina Goldinar (Slovenia) and Cantus Gaudium (Luxembourg). Later, we will be joined by the Ladies of the Choir of Anloy (Belgium), Meluzina and Razdolje, two choirs from Luxembourg.

We go to the Salle des Spectacles to make contact and rehearse the common song.

4 p.m.: official launch of the festival at the multipurpose hall where, after the usual speeches by the elected officials and our President, all the choirs meet for the ensemble singing. A wine of honour closes this inauguration.

6 p.m.: arrival at the church of Rédange for rehearsals.

A 19h30, concert.

At 10 p.m., meal at the Rédange room, prepared by the volunteers of the Arulef Lorena association
